"END RACISM" Actions REALized

The END RACISM Actions REALized project sent ten END RACISM decks to skate shops around the US, for shops to use to bring about change in their communities by raising funds and awareness for Black-led organizations.

We chose the Pontiac Community Foundation (PCF) and are hyped to be raising funds for them and their work in the diverse city of Pontiac. PCF has been doing great things, from improving public parks to meeting the needs of families during Covid-19. Even paying past due medical bills for those struggling. They've been bringing people together through positive leadership like at their Unity Service at Pontiac City Hall after the tragedy of George Floyd. These are the things we need to see in the moments of a hurting community.

PCF also just started a new program; The Center for Pontiac Entrepreneurship. This is a program providing resources such as financial counseling, small business grants, and access to professional services. They also offer free business courses designed to help understand business concepts and provide guidance to all businesses from a start-up to well-established.

Five of the decks are available now for $75 each (FCFS). One deck will be raffled off in person Oct 24^th at the Pontiac Skatepark Halloween Skate Jam. For the last four decks, raffle tickets are available in store and online until Friday Oct 30th. Winners will be chosen that day and contacted by email before 5:00pm. Please remember 100% from the sales of the decks and raffle tickets will be donated directly to the PCF.
